Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details: your email, optional name, and a hash of your password. We never store the password itself.
• Learning data: submissions, completed questions and lessons, bookmarks, notes, simulator results and your target role.
• Security data: a session cookie, plus short-lived hashed counters derived from your IP address and email to limit abuse.
• Error reports, if error monitoring is enabled: technical details about a failure, without your account details being attached deliberately.

How we use it

We use this data to run your account, save your progress, send account emails such as password resets, keep the service secure and fix problems. We don't sell your data, and we don't use advertising or analytics trackers.

Cookies and browser storage

We set one essential sign-in cookie. Your theme preference, and your progress if you aren't signed in, stay in your browser's local storage. Python code you run in a problem executes in your browser and isn't sent to our servers.

Service providers

We rely on providers for hosting, the database, email delivery and error monitoring, who process data on our behalf. The code editor and Python runtime load from the jsDelivr CDN, which receives your IP address when your browser requests those files. Data may be processed outside your country.

Retention and your choices

We keep your data while your account exists. Deleting your account from Settings permanently removes your account and learning data from our database right away. Provider backups may take longer to expire. You can also email us to access or correct your data, and you may have further rights under your local law.

Children

LeetQuant isn't intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
